Dec 05, 2012

The Dalrod sponsored Peterborough Phantoms have drafted in GB Under 18 International Harry Harley on-loan ahead of this weekends crucial games against the Basingstoke Bison and Guildford Flames.

Harley is currently playing for the Whitley Warriors in the NIHL and was also part of the GB Under 18′s team which traveled to Holland in the World Championships, along with current Phanoms young stars Jordan Cownie, Declan Balmer, Dan Lane and Lewis Hook last season.

The 17 year old Forward has been brought in to help cover the loss of Luke Ferrara, Will Weldon, Jordan Cownie and Declan Balmer who fly out this week for the GB Under 20′s World Championships in Donetsk (Ukraine)

Phantoms Head Coach, Jon Kynaston, commented ‘We have an agreement to use Harry this weekend. Harry is a GB U18 player I know well – he is young and keen to make his way into the EPL so we will take a look at him. I’d like to thank the Whitley Warriors for allowing us to borrow Harry this weekend.’

Nathan pollard is likely revert back to a Forward for this weekend as Kynaston rejigs the lines.
