While the Phantoms Under 16B’s had their final game of the 2009/2010 season last Saturday, the Under 18’s are already three weeks into their pre-season conditioning regime for the 2010/2011 campaign !

The Under 18s team have been going through a structured fitness programme at Ferry Meadows twice a week since early June, where all of their fitness levels are logged and times kept with targets set for each individual’s activities. The aim is for the players to be in peak condition prior to the start of on-ice training in August. Starting in July the team will drop one of the Ferry Meadow sessions and replace it with a Gym session.

The Under 18’s are coached by Jon Kynaston with Steve Barber and Ian Offers the Assistant Coaches.

The Phantoms Junior Website is also undergoing a revamp with a new cleaner look and feel, and with the ability now for team representatives to update their section of the site.
